Superhero Sneak Peak: Holland MI Children’s Portrait Photographer

I ADORE a child’s imagination.

I hope that I’ll be able to encourage my own lil’ guy to be creative and imagine new possibilities in the same way that my parents encouraged me as a child. Around the time I was 41 weeks pregnant in the fall, I began imagining a personal portrait project of my own design. I love creating custom-photography sessions for my clients that match their creative vision with my own desire and ability to tell their story through my lens and yet, sometimes I get antsy to create something just. for. fun. I’m not sure if it was seeing my husband’s jaw drop during the trailer for the latest superhero blockbuster or the nostalgia of growing up surrounded by the thought of being a superhero, but regardless of the source of my desire… this Superhero-styled session will hopefully be the first of many!! Thank you to the wonderful clients who donated to a great cause and enthusiastically participated in this event!! My friend Joy did an unbelievably amazing job creating & designing this backdrop and my friend Maria created BEAUTIFUL Superhero capes which will be featured in another post!!
