Sweet Samuel: Holland MI Family and Baby Photography

             Every single day, my husband will say to me: “I just love our son!” It’s usually said as we are both sitting down in his nursery playing with him or swaddling him for bed or any other time where we are together as a family… Honestly, I don’t think there is a day that goes by when I don’t look at him and realize what a blessing he is in our lives. Sure, we can’t stay out as late as we want or sleep in as long as we “need” — and we are constantly making mistakes and growing through them— but none of that takes away from the absolute joy it is to have this small little one in our lives who reminds us that no matter what, life is full of joyful squeals, unexpected giggles, BIG smiles, and LOTS of deep conversations on the changing table.

Here is Sam with his new friend Sophie… He LOVES Sophie the Giraffe.

Even more than Sophie, he loves his Baba. He gets a HUGE smile on his face (and in his eyes) when his Baba walks into the room. I have yet to capture this ridiculous smile so you will just have to imagine a really big smile.

And I love having deep conversations with him about global events and the state of his digestive system.

It is amazing how much our lives have changed in the last four months…
